For the best burn, trim the wick or gently break off the charred wood so only about 1/8 inch of the wick remains before each use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn, and avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Always burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, children, and pets. Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains.
